I'm now executing a batching run, just colleting the data into three tables (no periodic purging to simulate batch completions, just saving all of it). The most direct comparison to this is the client filter (neutrino) runs, as these perform the exact same block and prevouts read in order to populate the filter data, and then write the data for each block. Sigs is an order of magnitude more data being written, and we are also fully executing validation, excluding ~94% of sigs (99.99% until taproot). However filter computation is non-trivial. A milestone neutrino run on this same machine completes to block 850k in 1.91 hrs (that's the last run I have, a year old, missing some big optimizations. The current signature batching run is tracking very closely against the neutrino milestone benchmark. Passing block 500k organized and about 110GiB of signature data between ecdsa single and multisig, with 99.99% and 99.95% capture rate respectively.
