Interestingly total time is tracking only 2.5 mins behind the record maxi full validation run. But because I wanted to see the behavior from genesis, this run also includes the 295k checkpointed blocks that aren't in the benchmark. That normally takes about 8 mins additional time. IOW this run is a little faster so far than the best full validation benchmark, and all we've really done is organize the signatures to be validated close together. So it does appear that the cache coherence is offsetting the marshalling overhead.
