Batched (CPU on secp) full validation run on mini was significantly faster than previous up to block 700k, but that could be due to previous optimizations, so I'm running again without batching.

Similar times here, but hard to compare due to the current batching implementation. The normal node.maximum_height setting doesn't yet finish off the residual batch, which also prevents confirmations from completing. So I've done some work to ensure that a capped run completes all batching and confirmations as in unbatched implementations.
