up and running, might need to do some param tuning but so far seems to be chugging through. this is 1gbps , but im requesting a 10 gbps link for this box

If you aren't getting seeded in time, this is the right number to change. It won't actually delay startup, since once you have enough addresses the node starts while you finish seeding. It just delays stop if seeding fails. So if you need to increase this it's harmless.
