up and running, might need to do some param tuning but so far seems to be chugging through. this is 1gbps , but im requesting a 10 gbps link for this box

Well the discussion led to me seeing it, so partial credit. The state search isn't a good call in this situation mainly because it would impact the hot path whereas the problem it would resolve only hits the ice cold path (~never happens).
