up and running, might need to do some param tuning but so far seems to be chugging through. this is 1gbps , but im requesting a 10 gbps link for this box

altho i am noticing some IO contention / paging which makes me wonder if ive got the machine set up correctly / appropriately sized (only 62GB). will let this finish and run again tomorrow
