up and running, might need to do some param tuning but so far seems to be chugging through. this is 1gbps , but im requesting a 10 gbps link for this box

The efficient resolution of that issue is to create a sidecar vector of invalids, as a member of the chaser. Then just push any invalid, strand protected, and check that list before setting valid. That makes the hot path check a free test against an empty vector.
