Overall it's excellent progress. The final table structure is in place, 95+% capture rate for all signatures, handling for snapshots and restarts, CPU vs. GPU, batched vs. unbatched, libsecp vs. ultrafast, NuGet builds... and it's all compiling and working properly. Performance is not degraded at all in signature collection and CPU processing in batch (slightly better actually). So we are ideally situated to spend time now working through the details of optimal signature batch processing over batches of any size.
Initial tests on a Linux box with modern GPU showed us processing 5M sigs/sec, where the CPU processing on our fastest benchmark machine to date gives us 360K sigs/sec in the same configuration. That's almost 14x faster, which cuts the signature verification time on our fastest runs from 2.7 hrs to 19 minutes, making a 4.85 hr run into a 2.5 hr run.
