I completed a full validation run against the variadic mmap and at 5.09 hrs its fully consistent with the previous implementation, so I'll update the vertical tables and see how that goes. Also I integrated signature table pruning into store.prune(), so now when the store becomes current and coalesced it drops the ecdsa and schnorr table set down to their logical size (which is zero at that point), which reclaims disk space back to the configured default initial size (and zero when stopped, as before). So if you configure with default (1 byte), they grow to GB size and then shrink to 1 byte in reservation as well as on disk. Previously they would retain the largest reservation until shutdown (the expected behavior for append-only tables).
