shelly first signature batch (batched sigs unverified) sync comes in at 1.93 hrs, just a few minutes shy of @josie batch with verify. This was also my default config from maxi (batching only 1m at a time). With full verify on this machine, full validation should come in around 2.0 hrs.🔥 1💪 1

another awesome datapoint. what i infer from this is the large GPU im using isnt being fully utilised, so you can get more or less the same speedup on a much less powerful machine

Note that above doesn't verify the sigs, so to compare it to yours would assume zero GPU verify time. This machine has a very beefy GPU, I just haven't tried it yet. But it's for sure GPUs aren't being fully utilized as most of the run they will sit idle. The real cost is in the collection, not the verification, which is why I've been focused on this verification free run.

Even with updated config, this number doesn't budge, similar to the milestone time. Both are hitting up against table write allocator lock contention.
