The prototype is simplified, just to prove the concept. Write flushing was limited to two fixed points, at ~500GB and at completion. Flush rate (RAM to SSD) exceeded 1.9 GB/sec, so this machine will be easily network limited at 2.3 Gbps. That first leg hit 722,933 confirmed in ~30 minutes.
