I've modified the header organizer to close the last structural DoS gap. The header sync is a little more costly. I've measured 35 seconds vs 27 in the original, at 150 peers. So well worth the benefit. I've also dropped the organizer chaser template in favor of a header chaser, dropping the block chaser. This kills blocks-first for now, but that wasn't really functional yet anyway, and is largely academic.
