First SP query (ever) ... The sparrow service answered on the first connection, so the node is current and the service is live:
  • handshake server.version returned sparrow-server 1.4
  • blockchain.silentpayments.subscribe accepted the BIP352 test-vector scan secret and spend key, echoing the sp1 address with start height 0 and label 0
  • the full scan of the index completed 19 seconds later with progress 1.0 and an empty history
Empty is the expected result for the test-vector keys, which have no mainnet payments. The scan covered the full silent table, about 350M rows from the previous store's count, so that is roughly 18M rows per second end to end on shelly's device, in line with the earlier 14 second scan on the pre-gate store. To verify a positive match the service needs a key pair with a known mainnet silent payment. If you have a test receiver, pass its scan secret and spend key to the same script and it will print the history entries. Second SP query (warm)... The subscribe reply and the completion notification are identical to the first scan. The halving is the silent table being resident after the first pass, so 9 seconds is the device-bound figure for the full index on shelly and 19 seconds included paging the columns in. Third SP query (verify)... Third scan: 9 seconds again, empty history, same reply. The warm figure is stable at 9 seconds for the full index, so that is the number for shelly's device on this store.
