I completed the integration of neutrino filters into the node today. Turns out the original store design was correct and still appears optimal. This is much more costly in terms of update time than the electrum addressing because it requires previous outputs be read for all blocks (including under checkpoints/milestone). This imposes an ordering similar to validation but not as strict as confirmation. So it can also be parallelized to the extent that multiple concurrent blocks exist.
