Snapshots can of course also lead to disk full, however once there are two snapshots there is never any more size increase. All writes are first suspended, then the snapshot directories are rotated and the older one deleted. Since only headers are written, size never changes, so we can always snap once we have to written. However if the disk is full the snapshot just leaves behind the one value directory (which is why we rotate two). I've verified the snapshot disk full behavior as well.
