This optimal window size(s) will require some tuning and the config automation, but even this works very well. It's a small tradeoff in total time in order to practically eliminate the possibility of confirmation delay caused by late blocks. Also forgot to mention above that I performed a backup at some point in the last 10 minutes, which is not even discernable on the graph. Shutdown time was 61 seconds - for a single full chain run with an extra 115GiB for Electrum!
