Didn't get 45 minutes, just over an hour. I'm getting about 1.5Gbps utilization, so only about 50% faster vs. 100%. I varied thread count, peer count, and step size but without much difference. I believe that the download is getting so fast that sequential validation/confirmation is now dominating (despite being bypassed by checkpoint/milestone in these runs). The time to confirm all txs and blocks was about 30 minutes last I checked it independently. I noticed this was running for about 15 minutes after download completion (which is why it ran longer than the half way trajectory). If that time had been cut in half as well it would have hit about 45 minutes.
