I was building everything manually since the script failed. That also did not work. So trying ./install.sh again without sudo

./install.sh --prefix=$HOME/libbitcoin --build-boost --build-secp256k1 --disable-shared

Why does boost default to 1.89.0 though?

It takes 16GB to hold the table heads, which should remain memory resident. So most of the time is spent just moving these on and off the disk.
