I was building everything manually since the script failed. That also did not work. So trying ./install.sh again without sudo

./install.sh --prefix=$HOME/libbitcoin --build-boost --build-secp256k1 --disable-shared

Why does boost default to 1.89.0 though?

People who are diligent and technical enough to seek us out and go through the process provide good input to the process. But the masses are another story at this stage.
