I still have to provide the bitcoind script serialization (ughly). We have long supported deserialization of that (or our own) transparently, but we never serialize to bitcoind. That was mainly to allow script test vector portability. But I'll add a flag to the script::to_string(bool bitcoind) serializer and that will be sufficient for the json serialization, because in both cases the script is just a single formatted string.
